Peru’s Ranked MMA Featherweight Contender
At 36 Rudy Gavidia has become a fixture on cards across Latin America. Born and raised in Peru, he stands five foot ten inches tall (178 centimeters) and carries the nickname EL CHARANGUERO into the cage. Over the course of 24 professional bouts he has built a 21 wins three losses zero draws ledger, splitting time between the featherweight and lightweight divisions in his most recent showings.
Gavidia’s striking is measured and deliberate, a reflection of years spent refining technique rather than chasing highlight reels. He has faced regional opponents in Lima and across Central and South America, meeting the qualifier of at least two appearances in any ranking region.
