Tom OConnor has spent his career building a steady record on regional cards. At 32 years old and five feet eight inches tall he has compiled a 13 and 3 record. Fighting out of Progressive Fighting Academy in Lethbridge Alberta the fighter known as Big Nasty has become a fixture in Western Canada and beyond.

OConnor is ranked number 71 in the North America region with additional placements in Canada and Western Canada. Those rankings reflect his recent schedule: he has fought at least twice in each of those territories across his last six bouts. Having competed at lightweight in his last two fights he has established himself firmly in that division among his continental peers.
