At 35 years old Zachary Hicks has worked his way into the regional featherweight standings despite a 9-6 professional record. A Nashville Tennessee native Hicks trains out of Nashville MMA Training Camp where coaches focus on wrestling control and striking efficiency. Standing 5'8" (173cm) and competing at 145 pounds Hicks has built his career largely in the US Southeast and his home state of Tennessee.
Hicks currently sits at No. 599 in the North America featherweight rankings and also appears on the US Southeast and Tennessee leaderboards. He is ranked only in regions where he has fought at least two times in his last six bouts and remains listed at featherweight after competing in that division in each of his last two fights. As he targets a climb into the top 500 Hicks will need to back up regional wins with performances that can stand up as the level of competition rises.
