Understanding the gravity of the situation, VanZant expressed her concern and determination to recover. “The neurosurgeon, at this point, is surprised that I don’t have any neurological issues because it’s extremely serious,” she mentioned. VanZant explained that many individuals with similar conditions often experience rapid loss of function in their limbs.
