This exciting news follows the recent unveiling of PFL Africa, expanding the PFL's global footprint alongside PFL Europe and PFL MENA. PFL officials confirmed the launch of PFL Pacific to Cageside Press and released an official statement detailing the league's operations. PFL Pacific will encompass all of Australia and New Zealand, featuring essential broadcast agreements. Stan, the 9Network, and 9Now in Australia will be the primary broadcasters, ensuring accessibility for fans across the region. Stan will serve as the exclusive home for the PFL portfolio in Australasia, offering live and on-demand streaming through Stan Sport.
In addition to the streaming service, select premium PFL events will also be available via Stan Pay-Per-View. Other significant PFL events will air for free on the 9Network and 9Now, further enhancing fan access to top-tier MMA action.
PFL Pacific is set to follow a similar structure to PFL Europe and PFL MENA, featuring four annual events that operate under a tournament format. The league plans to announce its 2025 debut date and locations soon, creating anticipation among fans eager for local MMA events.
As part of its expansion, PFL Pacific will also introduce the PFL Champions Series: Road to Dubai in the Australasia region, providing even more opportunities for fighters to showcase their skills and compete at an elite level.
